British national time trial championships 2015

Alex Dowsett, favourite for the time trial at the nationals 2015

It was the time trial today at the British Cycling National Championships, at Cadwell Park motor racing circuit in Lincolnshire.

Hayley Simmonds of Team Velosport won the women's event, ahead of Molly Weaver and Sarah Storey. 

Alex Dowsett was the big favourite in the men's race, and he didn't disappoint. He won his fourth national title in a time of 1h00.11, with Ed Bradbury second in 1h03.42, and Ryan Perry third in 1h04.02.

In the men's U23 event, Scott Davies took gold, with Owain Doull in silver, and Tao Geoghegan Hart in bronze.
