Where to stay in Ripon during the Tour: pop-up campsites

There'll be pop-up campsites at Ripon Racecourse, Ripon Rugby Club, near Baldersby Park, and at Brymoor.

Ripon Racecourse: Ripon Racecourse Tour de France camping is open for a week, and there are 3-, 5-, and 7-night stays available. All 5- and 7-night stays include tickets to see the horse racing on the evening of Monday 7th July 2014. Prices start from £150 for 4 people, for 3 nights.

Ripon Rugby Club: Camping at Ripon Rugby Club is being organised by a company called Camping Ninja, and their rather over-the-top website calls the campsite the Campingninja Fan Village. It's open from Thursday 3rd to Monday 7th July 2014. They have pre-pitched tents, or you can bring your own.

Baldersby Park: Camping at Baldersby Park is being called Campbiko, and is open from 10am on Friday 4th July to noon on Monday 7th July 2014. For 3 nights, it's £79 per person. They will have a big screen as well as the usual campsite facilities. This campsite is just east of the A1, to the east of Ripon. It's an easy cycle to, say West Tanfield, to watch Stage 1.

Brymoor Dairy: Camping is available at Brymoor Dairy (on the A6108, north west of Masham, at High Jervaulx Farm) from Monday 30th June  to Monday 7th July 2014. There's a minimum 2-night stay, and the rate is £20 per adult per night, and £10 for children (up to 16). They'll also be offering paying parking on Saturday 5th July 2014.
