Space for Cycling

The national cycling charity CTC is taking the Space for Cycling campaign nationwide. It calls on councils to improve our streets so that anyone can cycle anywhere. 

Space for Cycling was created by the London Cycling Campaign, to call on election candidates to commit to safe space for people on bikes. CTC is making it national, to influence councillors across the country.

Visitors to CTC's website can upload examples of good and bad cycle infrastructure to a map, including location, explanation, and photos. Where the cycle facility is good, there can still be suggestions for improvements.

It's also possible to sign up for updates from CTC, and to send a pro forma email to the relevant local councillor, expressing support for the campaign.
