Rohan Dennis in yellow, 2015 Tour de France
Tony Martin (Etixx Quick-Step) won the morning time trial on Stage 7 in 18min06, with Rohan Dennis in second place 3s back, and Tom Dumoulin third, 5s behind the winner. Steve Cummings was fourth, and retained the overall lead, 38s ahead of Dennis and Dumoulin in equal second place. This is a video of the highlights of Stage 7a:
In the afternoon circuit race, Dennis attacked with 2km left, and won the stage. By finishing 6s ahead of Cummings, and with a time bonus for the stage win, Dennis moves to within 26s of the race lead.

Stage 7 of the Tour of Britain 2016 is a double stage in Bristol, with an individual time trial in the morning, and a circuit race in the afternoon.

The 15.3km circuit starts on Bristol Downs. It takes Stoke Road, then the A4176 along the eastern edge of the Downs and past Bristol Zoo Gardens. The route continues on Clifton Down and Observatory Road, then there's a right turn onto the B3129 and over the Clifton Suspension Bridge.
There's a sharp left turn onto Rownham Hill A369, which takes the race to Bedminster Cricket Club. There's a left turn onto the A370 at Ashton Gate, and the route passes Greville Smth Park, before taking Coronation Road along the river Avon.
The race goes back over the Avon on Bedminster Bridge, then heads west on the other side of the river on Commercial Road and Cumberland Road. The riders will pass Cumberland Basin, then continue on Hotwell Road and Portway.
They reach Bridge Valley Road, which takes them uphill away from the river, with a King of the Mountains point at the top of the climb. The route carries on on Circular Road back to the start/finish line on Bristol Down.
The circuit is raced once during the individual time trial in the morning (from 10am), and there are six laps during the circuit race in the afternoon (2.30-5pm).
