McLay wins Otley cycle race 2015
2nd July 2015

Daniel McLay of Bretagne Seche Environnment won the elite men's event at Otley cycle races yesterday evening, with Christopher Latham (100% ME) in second place, and Jonathan Mould (One Pro Cycling) third. See some of the action in this video:
The town centre criterium races are now in their 30th year, and previous editions have been graced by big names, including Lizzie Armitstead. There are a number of races, including junior races and the Chevin Cycles Classic, as well as the women's and men's elite events.
In the women's race, Sarah Storey and Annasley Park dominated, with a long breakaway. Park won the sprint to take the title.

In the men's event, the crucial break was made by a group including several JLT Condor and GB Academy (100% ME) riders, but it was Daniel McLay who sprinted to victory (see race report).
Jonathan Mould (One Pro Cycling) was third.

There was a good number of spectators in and around Otley.

Last night was harder work for some people than others.

McLay, Latham, and Mould finished on the podium.

Spectators looked on as the winner was interviewed.
