Hedge-blog: Cycling ambition downfall video

25th June 2015

Cycle city ambition is the government's flagship scheme for awarding funding for cycling to certain cities and National Parks. However, after the general election, on 4th June 2015, it was announced that £23 million of the promised funding was being clawed back by the Treasury as an underspend.

As a general rule, I think Hitler should be left out of modern political debate. However, there are exceptions, and Cycling Joe's video is one. It recruits a rant by Hitler in the 2004 German film Downfall (der Untergang) for an ascerbic and funny take on the Cycle City Ambition programme.
