Opening Ceremony, UCI 2019 Yorkshire Worlds

Details of an Opening Ceremony for the UCI 2019 Yorkshire Worlds have been announced. It will be on the stage at Harrogate's West Park Fan Zone, from 5 to 5.45pm on Saturday 21st September 2019.

The bigwigs present include UCI President David Lappartient, Yorkshire 2019 CEO Andy Hindley, and British Cycling CEO Julie Harrington.

During the ceremony, there will be music from the Skelmanthorpe Brass Band and Harrogate Theatre Choir.

After the ceremony, there's to be more music:

• 6pm Hyde Park Brass
• 7pm The Motown Sparklettes

The Fan Zone will be open until 8.30pm on Saturday 21st September. It's open until 6.30pm from Sunday to Thursday, then to 10pm on Friday 27th & Saturday 28th September, and 8.30pm on Sunday 29th September.
