This 18.5 mile mountain bike ride loops around Pen-y-Ghent.

It takes in Horton-in-Ribblesdale and Litton. There's nice scenery and the tracks are generally decent quality.

Grassington Yorkshire Dales Road Cycling Route

River Wharfe at Conistone

This circular road cycling route starts in Grassington, and heads north up Wharfedale then Littondale to Halton Gill.

It climbs to Malham Tarn, then returns via Malham, Kirkby Malham, Airton, Hetton, and Cracoe to Malham.

The roads are quiet, and the ride takes in lanes lined with dry stone walls, open fells, and villages of limestone-built houses, as well as views of Malham Cove.

The Settle Clapham Loop Cycle Route is an alternative to the original there and back ride. The return is via Clapham Station, Eldroth and Giggleswick.
