Wout van Aert was in the hot seat as first Tadej Pogacar then Jonas Vingegaard crossed the finish line of the 22.4km ITT from Passy to Combloux.

Vingegaard won by a definitive 1min 38s from Pogacar in second place.

Wout van Aert was third at 2min51s.
