The Phoenix Peloton Wellbeing Ride is to take place on Saturday 4th May 2024, starting from the Harrogate Branch of the Police Treatment Centres on Harlow Moor Road.

There are three distances to choose from:

  • 50km
  • 65km and
  • 100km

The 50km ride heads up Nidderdale to Pateley Bridge and returns on quiet roads north of Brimham Rocks.

The 65km ride takes a longer way back from Pateley Bridge, with a stretch across Dallow Moor to High Grantley.

The 100km ride’s extra distance comes from the way it reaches Pateley Bridge – heading via Fewston and Swinsty towards Ilkley, then continuing to Bolton Abbey and Hebden before going over Greenhow to Pateley.

The fee is £35 or £36.

What is Phoenix Peloton?

Phoenix Peloton is an online community for the emergency services, NHS and armed forces.

People working in these organisations have jobs that are fulfilling and meaningful, but which can also be very stressful. Phoenix Peloton is there to support them and raise funds for them.

The Wellbeing Ride on 4th May is to raise fundins for the Police Treatment Centres, which offer physiotherapy and psychological support for officers suffering from stress-related conditions, anxiety or depression.

The ride is supported by Irwin Mitchell and Bike Sporta +.
