Punchy Finish to Stage 2

The punchy finish to Stage 2 Tour de France 2026 at the Olympic stadium in Barcelona whittled the field down to an elite including Pogacar, Vingegaard, Evenepoel, Skjelmose and Tobias Johanessen.
However it was Pogacar’s teammate Isaac del Toro who took the stage win ahead of his team leader.
Evenepoel was third and Vingegaard fourth, all in the same time as the winner – before time bonuses are accounted for.
Jonas Vingegaard retains the yellow jersey, 6s ahead of Pogacar and 15s in front of Evenepoel.
These are the closing kilometres of the race.
These are race highlights.
