The Third Man is Scottish on Stage 7

Scot Oscar Onley was third on the well-known Mur de Bretagne finish on Stage 7 of the Tour de France 2025.
He was only 2s behind the Big Two – Pogacar, who took first place, and Vingegaard, who was second in the same time as the Slovenian.
Geraint Thomas made the early breakaway group along with Alex Baudin, Marco Haller, Ewen Costiou and Ivan Garcia Cortina.
Alpecin Deceuninck set the pace on the front of the bunch for most of the day on behalf of yellow jersey Mathieu van der Poel. The break was caught on the finishing circuit at Mur de Bretagne.
A small leading group took on the final climb, and Pogacar attacked shortly before the line. Vingegaard was able to follow him, but not to overtake him.
Onley, Felix Gall, Matteo Jorgenson, Remco Evenepoel and Kévin Vauquelin were all at 2s.
