Amazon has a handy feature that tells you where products rank in the best-seller list for various categories. I’ve picked out a few best sellers this Christmas 2022.
Best-Selling Bike Tool Kit
This is only a snapshot, but at the time of writing the Chumxiny is top of the tool kits on Amazon. It’s selling at £20.99, a 30% discount on its normal price.
I think it’s safe to say that brand recognition is not the main factor behind its success.
You get quite a lot for the money, with many items included. They include a mini-pump, a tool bag, and a multi-tool.
Disadvantages:
- metal tyre levers, which can damage your wheel rims
- one reviewer says their multi-tool fell apart
Best-Selling E-Bike
The Hyuhome e-bike sells for £739 at the time of writing. There’s a choice of colour – yellow, blue or red.
It comes from China, which means it may take a few weeks to arrive. It has 63% 5-star reviews and 19% 4-star reviews.
There is a little bit of assembly to do when the package arrives.
My general impression from the reviews is that it’s decent value for money. Some of the parts are not the best quality, which is perhaps to be expected at the price.
The product details refer to 3 modes:
- pure electric mode
- pedal assistance mode
- pure human mode
As far as I know pure electric mode isn’t legal in the UK, or it would mean that the product is an electric motorbike rather than an e-bike.

The Royalbaby is the best seller in kids’ bikes. It comes in 6 colours and 4 sizes. Prices start at £150.99.
The bikes get 80% 5-star reviews, with reviewers saying that they are sturdy.

Hikidye wheel lights for kids’ bikes are only £6.39. They are a bit of fun, and could help with safety.
