Stage 18 of the Tour de France 2024 saw Victor Campenaerts win from the breakaway.

A break of 37 riders formed with 133km to go.

Among the participants were Campenaerts, Mattéo Vercher, Ben Healy, Richard Carapaz, Tobias Johanessen, Oscar Onley, Oier Lazkano, Geraint Thomas, Michal Kwiatkowski, Wout van Aert, Bart Lemmen, Wout Poels and Frank Van den Broek.

Oscar Onley was the first to be dropped, due to a mechanical issue.

On the last climb, the Demoiselles Coiffées, Kwiato, Vercher and Campenaerts formed a trio at the front.

They kept a lead to the finish in Barcelonnette, where the sprint was surprisingly won by a delighted Victor Campenaerts.
