King of the Hill in Rouen on Stage 4

Stage 4 of the Tour de France 2025 ended with a series of punchy hills approaching the finish in Rouen.
Van der Poel and Pogacar were the favourites, and on the day Pogacar was faster – just.
Jonas Vingegaard showed good form, staying with Pogacar when he attacked, and finishing third on the stage in the same time as the first two.
The day’s break featured Lenny Martinez, Jonas Abrahamsen, Thomas Gachingnard and Kasper Asgreen.
They were out front over the first climb and through the intermediate sprint. Martinez survived until the top of the second climb.
Visma Lease-a-Bike came to the front and drove the pace with 11km left.
Pogacar attacked up the Rampe Saint-Hilaire, with Vingegaard following and everyone else distanced somewhat.
A few riders made it back on, including Van der Poel and Almeida. Almeida led Pogacar out towards the finish then Van der Poel took over at the front.
Pogacar overhauled MVDP as the Dutchman faded, and Vingegaard just failed to make it past the Alpecin Deceuninck rider and therefore finished third. Inevitably, perhaps, Pogacar was “super-happy”.
Oscar Onley and Romain Grégoire were right up there too, and Remco Evenepoel lost 3s. Onley is seventh on GC at 55s.
